Result of Shire of Leonora’s 2019 WA Local Government Ordinary Elections

On Tuesday, 17thSeptember, 2019, at the commencement of the Shire of Leonora’s Council Meeting, the newly elected representatives of the Shire of Leonora were sworn in for a four year term expiring October 2023.  They were Councillor Ross Norrie, Councillor Peter Craig and Councillor Fifi Harris. All three had held positions as Councillors with the Shire and had re-nominated and been elected unopposed.

On behalf of the community, I would like to thank them for demonstrating their commitment to the Shire of Leonora and the people who work and live in this region, by accepting a further four-year term of office.

The positions of Shire President and Deputy Shire President will be filled at the next Ordinary Meeting of Council in October 2019.
