COMMUNITY GRANTS
The Shire of Leonora has three streams of funding to support our community:
- Community Grants Round
- CEO Support grants
- Annual Programs & Events

Community Grants Round
A competitive grants round supporting community and sporting organisations in the Shire of Leonora.
Applications can be made for up to $10,000, with a total pool of $60,000.
Application Round
The community grants round is open in April, with applications to be assessed in May and adopted with the annual budget.
Funds will be available to successful applicants from 1 July, pending adoption of the budget.
By determining applications prior to the financial year, recipients will have longer to expend the funds on their projects.
Eligibility
The organisation or group must provide direct benefit to the Shire of Leonora community, by providing support, services, events, and/or activities.
The organisation or group must be:
- Not for profit
- Incorporated
- Community based
Community organisations/groups which are not incorporated should approach an incorporated community-based organisation to auspice the project.
Supported activities include:
- Development projects
- Participation projects
- Community service groups

APPLICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY OPEN
Applications to be made via SurePact.
CEO Support Grants
A discretionary support fund for individual pursuits or small community-based events.
Applications can be made for up to $1,000, with a total pool of $20,000.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a current resident of the Shire of Leonora
- Have at least six months continuous residence immediately prior to application

Annual Programs & Events
Dedicated funding in support of programs or events which have been identified as providing significant benefit to the Leonora community, and/or contributing to achieving Shire objectives.
