The Shire of Leonora is seeking to employ a passionate and experienced Director providing an opportunity to utilise your skills and be committed to continuous improvement through a collaborative approach with colleagues, community, families and children.

As the Director, you will lead a small team to ensure the operations of a high-quality Education and Care service which supports and promotes positive outcomes for children and their families. You will be a self-starter, love your community and possess a creative vision.

You must hold relevant qualifications and be competent to manage all aspects of the service operations in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs while engaging staff, children and families in the process. It is expected that you will be required to work on the floor as required.

In addition, you will be responsible for all compliance with relevant laws and educational frameworks governing early learning childcare. Essential to this role is your ability to use OWNA software and professionally liaise with the Education and Care Regulatory Unit (ECRU), parents/guardians, lead a team and undertake all reporting and financial affairs of the Centre.

Professional development and a location allowance is offered. Subsidised housing may be available.
